Zeoli Touts Record In Accepting Republican Nomination

The full slate of Republican candidates has been set. Here's a list of who's running and for what office in Orange.

Orange Republicans are ready for the November election.

With a full slate of candidates endorsed by the party during a caucus last week, the top of the ticket, incumbent First Selectman James Zeoli, says he and his team will continue to work hard for all residents.

“I have successfully completed many projects during my time as First Selectman and many more are underway. No First Selectman can do it all alone, so together with my talented team we are working hard for the people of Orange," Zeoli said in his acceptance speech, according to a press release from Rick Roberts, chairman of the Orange Republican Town Committee.

"While my opponent talks about going overseas to search for economic development, I am pursuing a number of realistic projects with developers in New Jersey and Texas," Zeoli said. "Soon the Edison Road extension will be completed, easing traffic congestion and opening up acres for commercial or industrial development.”

“I will continue to support and improve our schools and to assist seniors to maintain a comfortable lifestyle in our town,” Zeoli said.
