Orange Man Charged With Strangulation
Man also facing unlawful restraint charge follwing altercation.
Christopher Ingram, 29, of Orange, was charged with third-degree strangulation, second-degree unlawful restraint and disorderly conduct on August 13 at approximately 9:35 p.m.
According to police, officers were dispatched to an altercation at a residence on Fairlea Road in Orange. An investigation revealed that Ingram had gotten into an argument with a woman and that the argument turned physical. During the argument, Ingram choked the female and kept her from leaving the residence, according to police.
Ingram was held on $5,000 bond and was schedule to appear in Superior Court on August 14.
