An Orange couple is listed in critical condition Monday after the motorcycle they were riding was involved in a crash in Shelton this weekend.

Ramona Seeley, 54, was a passenger on the motorcycle, which was being driven by her husband, Samuel Seeley, 55. According to Shelton Police, a minivan and the motorcycle collided at 9 p.m. on River Road near Murphy's Lane.

"The initial investigation by police revealed that a motorcycle with a passenger was traveling south on River Road when it collided with a Dodge Minivan which was traveling onto River Road from Murphy’s Lane," said Shelton Police Lt. Robert Kozlowsky.

The driver of the Dodge, who police identified as 22-year-old Megan Kalanick of Shelton, did not report being injured.

The Shelton Police Traffic Division is investigating this accident, but no enforcement action has been taken at this time, police said.
