My love of teaching and learning has taken me to Montana, Wyoming, and Connecticut.  As an educator I have taught grades 3 through 8 and graduate courses in education as well as presented numerous workshops related to elementary science education on local, state and national levels.

 Having the good fortune of working with exceptional educators who are was part of a team that received national recognition in the Search for Excellence in Science Education Award. And have been nominated for Teacher of the Year and Disney's Creative Teacher Award, and was Wyoming's Elementary representative for Law Related Education.

When out west  I learned to ride herd, brand, participated in a rodeo, hot potted-in Yellowstone, glacaded in the Bridger bowl, slept in tee-pees under buffalo robes, and was amazed every time I looked into he evening sky free of all the lights of the city.
