Jay Arnold, Local Official

Deputy Mayor Jay Arnold was elected to the Kirkland City Council in 2013 and selected by his fellow Councilmembers to serve as Deputy Mayor since 2016. Arnold seeks to protect Kirkland's quality of life through long-term planning, forward-thinking investments in transportation and parks, and a focus on sustainability as we grow with grace. He represents Kirkland on regional bodies involving transportation, growth management, climate, and the Eastrail (of which includes the Cross Kirkland Corridor).
