Temple Emanuel is a "'Warm and caring community" of about 170 families. Led by Rabbi Michael Farbman since July 2009, the congregation is dedicated to giving to those in need in the community. Each year, Temple Emanuel participates in the Thanksgiving Interfaith service along with six other Orange congregations. It holds Shabbat services and other religious observances, such as holidays, baby namings, Bar and Bat Mitzvah celebrations and weddings. There is a religious school for children in kindergarten through B'nai Mitzvah, Saturday morning Torah study and Hebrew language classes.
