<p>Located in an unassuming corner section of a large, white building next to Applebee's Restaurant, SGI-CT is dedicated to the teachings of Nichiren Buddhism, placing a high emphasis on the sanctity of life.</p> <p>Followers seek inner transformation through Buddhism, using life's challenges as catalysts to deepen and expand their inner lives.</p> <p>The core activity for all SGI members is the neighborhood discussion meeting, during which they take part in Buddhist prayer, study, sharing and discussion of ways Buddhism can be applied to the challenges of daily living.</p>
