Our Lady of Sorrows Church

<p>Our Lady of Sorrows Traditional Catholic Church, a beautiful little church built during the Victorian era, celebrates masses of the Catholic faith as they were prior to the changes brought about by Vatican II. Fr. Bernard Champagne recites all of the masses in Latin and says that his parishioners, many of whom are under the age of 30, travel from several New England states to attend Sunday services.</p> <p>Our Lady of Sorrows is one of only two traditional Catholic Churches in the state of Connecticut, where Christians come to celebrate their faith as they did prior to 1972.</p> <p>Unlike many modern churches, the doors to Our Lady of Sorrows are open to parishioners and visitors from dawn until dusk.</p>
