Wednesday, Aug. 21
Opie’s World is a program to promote outdoor recreation and appreciation of nature. The family friendly event will take place from noon to 4 p.m. at Maltby Lakes Recreation Area.

The New Haven Chorale is hosting auditions from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, at the Educational Center for the Arts, 55 Audubon St., New Haven.

The Orange Republican Town Committee's family picnic will take place at 5:30 p.m. at Orange Fairgrounds High Plains Community Center.
