What is CERT?
The Community Emergency Response Team is a great asset to the town of Orange.
The Orange Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is a group of highly trained volunteers who are dedicated to the town of Orange.
In the event of an emergency, they assist police and fire personnel, thereby freeing up those resources in things like traffic control, opening the emergency shelter and providing basic medical aid, such as bandages etc.
Interest in CERT grew after they were involved in a missing person search in March.
