Relay for Life Promises to be a Memorable Occasion

If Mother Nature is merciful, she may only toss a few raindrops on the Orange Fairgrounds this weekend. If she wants to be awesome, she'll give us sunshine and cool breezes, but, who knows.

The Relay for Life fund-raising event will take place at the Fairgrounds with music, magic and the awe inspiring luminaria ceremony, highlighted by John Jorge's rendition of Chris Rice's "Go Light Your World."

The Relay is open to everyone. You do not have to be on a team to participate in the different fund-raising opportunities around the track throughout the day.

I hear that the famous Petunia the pig will be there doing tricks for charity and being as cute as ever. Stop by and meet her between 4-5 p.m.!
