Relay For Life of BOW Seeks Business Owners' Help

As the 2012 Relay for Life draws near, Committee Co-Chairmen reach out.

This year's newest co-chairman Lynn Plaskowitz sent a letter to local businesses inviting them to become part of the annual event.

"It is very likely that you, a family member, a co-worker, or a friend has been touched by cancer in some way," Plaskowitz said.  "Relay gives you the opportunity to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones who lost the battle and help fight back against this disease."

Relay for Life is an overnight event held in conjunction with the American Cancer Society.  Teams of businesses, schools, neighborhoods or individuals take turns walking the track in an effort to raise awareness and dollars for the fight against cancer.
