POSTPONED: Lions Easter Egg Hunt Will Be Next Weekend

Stormy weather has forced the Lions to postpone annual event.

 

For 50 years the Orange Lions' Club has been hosting an for Orange children up to grade six.

Weather permitting, the hunt will take place at the grounds (Orange Fairgrounds) Saturday, April 7.

The Easter Bunny arrives at 12:30 p.m., a half-hour before the start of the Easter egg hunt.

Face painting will be done under the pavilion.

An adult should accompany all participating children. Each child should have a bag or basket to collect eggs.

Parents may bring a camera for a picture of their child with the Easter bunny. Parking is allowed on paved parking areas only.

Lion Nick Bencivengo is the chairman of this year’s event. Kept a close eye on the weather forcast and called Orange Patch early Saturday morning to postpone the event.

Anyone who wishes to make a donation (candy or prizes) is asked to call Nick at 203-901-9062.
