"ongoing concert series"? I thought Orange was not holding concerts this summer due to the unfortunate disbanding of the Special Events Committee? This would also curtail the Pumkin Palooza, Drive-in movies and I'm not sure about the Tree Lighting? If someone could clarify, that would be great. It would be ashame not to have these wonderful events to look forward to.

Hi Amy! I've spoken with Parks and Rec director Dan Lynch, and word is new Special Events volunteers are being recruited, and Pumpkin Palooza is expected to continue as planned! Future concerts are possible, but again, a lot depends on Special Events Committee volunteers. As for drive-in movie night... That seems less likely. But we'll definitely stay on this here at Patch and keep you updated.
