Amity athletes still playing hard in Fall Sports competitions.

In Amity sports last week:

• The Girls Volleyball team lost to Danbury 3-0 in the Class LL First Round on Nov 10.

• The Varsity Football team beat Wilbur Cross 42-16 on Nov. 11

• The Boys Varsity Soccer team lost to Hall 6-0 in the Class LL First Round on Nov. 11.

• The Boys Varsity Cross Country team came in fourth place in New England in the New England Championships on Nov. 12.

• The Girls Varsity Soccer team lost to Cheshire 2-1 in overtime in penalty kicks in the Class LL Second Round on Nov. 12.

• The Girls Varsity Swimming and Diving team came in second place in the CIAC Class LL Championships on Nov. 17.
