The Amity Lady Spartans crushed the North Haven Lady Indians 40 to 8 in the big Thanksgiving week game on Monday night at Vanacore Field in North Haven.
This rivalry is fierce with Amity coming back from last year's loss at home when the Indians ripped the Spartans 54-16.
Home games generally bring in bigger crowds, but the Lady Spartans do well at away games they beat North Haven in 2009 14-7 on Vanacore Field.
