Late Charge Lifts Amity in SCC 1st Round

Zac Campbell led the Spartans with 14 points as the Spartans beat Foran 57-45.

Thursday night's Southern Connecticut Conference boys' basketball first round playoff game allowed the Lions a strong shot at an upset. #8 seeded Amity played host to #9 Foran and the Lions led the game at the half but were doomed by a deciding fourth quarter. Amity pulled away a 57-45 victory behind a very solid final quarter.
