Quenia Ribeiro is a dancer, choreographer, and dance instructor from Rio De Janeiro Brazil. In addition to Brazilian dance, she has 18 years of formal ballet training. Quenia has taught Samba and Afro Brazilian Dance in Nyc since 1997. In addition she studied Capoeira for 8 years. With over 25 years experience as a dancer and dance instructor, she has performed in festivals in Greece, Brazil and all over the United States. As an instructor she has taught at many of the finest dance schools in New York (Alvin Ailey Extension, Jose Limon Studios) and worked extensively in the public school system with children and teens.
