Hockey Day in New England

The Boston Bruins, USA Hockey, Massachusetts Youth Hockey and the New England Youth Hockey District have come together to host Hockey Day in New England on Saturday, November 6, 2010 to help further grow the sport of hockey by exposing more kids to the game and attracting them to join local youth hockey associations.

FREE learn-to-play instructional sessions for beginners interested in trying hockey in a fun, game-based environment. Sessions will consist of an introduction to equipment, a learn-to-skate teaching session and a short game for all participants. All you need are skates (provided at some locations), a helmet (bike helmet okay) and gloves (mittens okay) to try it out. Each participant will not only walk away with a desire to play and a better understanding of the sport, but will also receive a Bruins prize pack, mini stick and jersey.
