Coppola To Be Honored

The CHSCA will recognize Amity Baseball Coach Sal Coppola this coming Thursday in Plantsville.

On Thursday, May 10, will be honored at the Connecticut High School Coaches Association’s 48th annual Coaches Recognition Dinner at the Kay’s Pier-Aqua Turf Club at 7 p.m.

The CHSCA will recognize outstanding coaches in 26 sport categories and three individuals for special honors: Fred Balsamo-The Joseph J. Fontana Distinguished Service Award; Joe Madaffari-The Thomas J. Monahan CHSCA Honor Award; Neil Gilman of Gilman Gear-The Joseph Calvanese Sponsorship Award.

The Aqua Turf Club is located at 556 Mulberry Street, Plantsville. Tickets are $46 and can be ordered by contacting John Fontana at 860-628-4122.
