Orange Student Wins BIC Scholarship

Jessica F. Evarts, of Orange, is the recipient of a $1,000 scholarship from BIC Corporation. The scholarships are awarded annually to the children of BIC employees and are based on the students’ scholastic achievements. 

This year, BIC awarded a total of $120,000 in scholarships to 88 students, including Miss Evarts, who is attending Marist College. She is the daughter of Joan and Kenneth Evarts. 

BIC Corporation began its scholarship program in 1971 to help employees' children defray the cost of college and graduate school.
