New Online Database Compares State's Teacher Contracts

Information provided by the database includes salaries and maximum class sizes.

A new database allows school board members, elected officials, teachers and the public to compare their with .

According to an article by the New Haven Register, the Connecticut Coalition for Achievement’s new database contains 173 of Connecticut’s 174 local teacher contracts, including those for traditional districts, regional districts, charter schools and the state vocational-technical high schools.

Information on each contract includes class size limits, salaries and other provisions. It can be found at the ConnCAN.org web site.
