Amity High's Test Scores Ranked 7th in State

Out of 191 high schools in Connecticut, Amity Regional High School is in elite company.

Based on results from statewide tests score in 2011,  ranks seventh out of 191 schools. That’s up 12 spots from the previous year and in between Wilton High School and Redding's Joel Barlow High.

The results were compiled by School Digger and combine the math and reading scores from the Connecticut Academic Performance Test. In 2010, there were a total of 1,630 students for a student-teacher ratio of 12.9.

The highest-ranked school in the state was Staples High School in Westport, which was followed by other Fairfield County Schools.
