$100,000 for Orange Schools: Imagine the Possibilities (Poll)

Doing more with less has become somewhat of a mantra in the current economic climate of cash-strapped municipalities. Every dollar spent is being scrutinized like never before and cuts to programs and services have been put on the table and stacked up against a communal desire to maintain a top-notch education for our children.

So just imagine what an extra $100,000 could do for Orange Public Schools ... maybe new textbooks or a couple teachers, or perhaps funds for extracurricular activities, the arts, and athletic programs. No doubt, it's exciting to think about the possibilities and the positive impact the money could have on students.

Yet in order to get to the point of turning possibility into reality, the Orange community must rally to get out the vote in Patch's Deck the House contest. The $100,000 will go to the house with the most votes at the end of the day on Jan. 8, so it is in everyone's interest to vote every day and to tell everyone they know to vote, too.
