Highway Department Crew Chief Don Foyer and Public Works Director Steve Savarese presented the request for an F250 and an F350 for Parks and Rec, and an F350 and an F450 for the Highway Department.

The F350 for the Highway Department will be almost $20,000 more costly than the other one because it will be built to carry a sander.

The selectmen also authorized spending $8,600 for engineering services for a project to replace two boilers and do asbestos abatement at . This also must be approved by the Board of Finance.

Zeoli said the funds would come out of $50,000 set aside in the budget, but would eventually be reimbursed to the town budget when the bond sale is done for the project.

The project is expected to cost between $250,000 and $300,000. A public hearing for the bond sale will probably be conducted this fall.
