Saturday: Flags at Half Staff To Honor Fallen Marine.

Ct native killed Feb. 22 in helicopter training accident.

 

Governor Dannel P. Malloy ordered flags across Connecticut to fly at half staff on Saturday, March 17, in honor of Lieutenant Colonel Thomas A. Budrejko.   

Lt. Col. Budrejko served in the Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 469 and was raised in Connecticut.

He was killed on February 22, during a military helicopter training accident.  

Flags will fly at half staff from sunrise to sunset on Saturday, the day Lt. Col. Budrejko will be laid to rest in Newington.
