Orange Budget Referendum Results
A fraction of the town's voters came to the polls on Thursday.
Town adopts 2011-12 budget 259-74.
The total budget request of $43,408,621 for fiscal year 2011-12 is an increase of $651,224, or 1.52 percent above the current budget of $42,757,397.
Voter turn-out was disappointing, according to Selectman Mitch Goldblatt, who said he was surprised at how many people admitted not going to the polls.
