Emergency Management Director Says "Stay Cool"

Town Emergency Management Director announces Cooling Center openings.

As the heatwave continues, cooling centers will be open in Orange for any resident who needs to find relief from the oppressive heat and humidity.

Emergency Management Director Fred Palmer said High Plains Community Center and the Case Memorial Library are the two official Cooling Centers in town and both are open today.

Tomorrow, the Library will be open during its regular hours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sunday, High Plains will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
