Campaign Notebook: Murphy Says McMahon Will Outspend Him

News and updates from the campaign trail in Connecticut.

Senate

Leading Democratic candidate Chris Murphy told the News Times editorial board that if he faces Linda McMahon in the general election he’s certain he’ll be outspent.

"She's already spent more on TV ads this year than I spent in my entire campaign in 2010," Murphy told the newspaper.

Third District

Rosa DeLauro (D): A regular issue brought up by DeLauro is a defense of food stamps, and on Friday she took to Twitter to say:

Wrong 2 cut food stamps for Americans under econ pressure while Congress continues tax breaks 4 oil companies, billionaires

Wayne Winsley (R): The candidate has been campaigning around New Haven County. This past week he’s been to New Haven and Naugatuck, according to his Facebook page.

Murphy, Himes, DeLauro and the entire lot "representing" CT are contributing to our nation's BANKRUPTCY with their votes!
If CT voters were better informed, they would send NO more DEMS to congress, and replace all these "career politicians" with the principled "Limited Government" candidates, such as Wayne Winsley running against DeLauro, and Steve Obsitnik against Himes. http://www.obsitnik.com/ Please check out Winsley's FB, or his website (http://winsleyforcongress.com), and see these impressive videos: **Wayne Winsley Rocks Republican Convention** Hartford, CT May 18, 2012. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mWPBo-TE0-4&feature=em-share_video_user Himes is clueless as to the damage he has done in less than 4 years! Here is a one-minute example of his treatment of those who believe in NOT spending $$$ you don't have, and not running up the 5 TRILLIONS more in DEBT Himes voted for: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3AQ3pWzMwWs
