Woodbridge Man Charged in Orange Burglary

He was arrested on a warrant in connection with an Oct. 2012 burglary.

 

A Woodbridge man was arrested Jan. 2 on charges he burglarized a Wheeler's Farm Road home in October, and Orange Police expect to make more arrests in the case, according to reports.

Matthew Vallillo, 31, of 30 Dogwood Circle, Woodbridge, was charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree larceny, third-degree criminal mischief, conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit third-degree criminal mischief.

"The arrest stemmed from a burglary to a private residence on Wheeler’s Farm Road on Oct. 21, 2012," according to the police report. "Officers recovered the stolen items and expect to make further arrests in this case."

Vallillo turned himself into police after learning there was a warrant for his arrest and he was released after posting $20,000 bond. He is due to appear in Derby Superior Court on Jan. 16.
