Two Arrested After Fight at Stop and Shop

A woman and a juvenile were charged after going to the store, allegedly to confront someone, according to police.

 

Two people, including one juvenile, were arrested Dec. 29 after allegedly getting into a confrontation at Stop and Shop on Bull Hill Lane, according to Orange Police.

According to police, Erica Hicks, 18, of 747 Boston Ave., Bridgeport, went to the store that day "looking to confront a store employee over a personal issue.

"Once she got tothe store, she got into a physical altercation with a different person and police were called.," according to reports.

Both Hicks and the second person, who wasn't identified because of their age, were charged with second-degree breach of peace.

Hicks was released on a promise to appear in Derby Superior Court on Jan. 4 and the juvenile was release to the custody of a family member, according to police.
