Three Car Accident Closes Grassy Hill Road

The Orange Police Department is investigating a three car accident on Grassy Hill Rd. south of Old Grassy Hill Rd. that occurred at 2:26 p.m.

The Orange Volunteer Fire Department responded for an extrication soon after the crash.

As of 4:00 p.m. Grassy Hill Rd. is closed to Southbound traffic at Old Grassy Hill Rd. and closed to Northbound traffic at Meetinghouse La.

Motorists should expect a delay or seek an alternate route for the traffic hour.

There were three persons transported from the scene to area hospitals for injuries sustained in the accident.

The accident is actively under investigation and there are no further details that will be forthcoming.
