State Police Reporting Storm-Related Incidents

Stay off the roads today, if possible.

The snowstorm is keeping Connecticut State Police busy today.

As of this morning, state police have responded to 500 calls for service and 28 motor vehicle accidents, including a few jack-knifed tractor trailers – one on I-95 in Norwalk, another near exit 18 on Route 2, and two on the 691 pass to I-91 north. Some service roads are clogged with abandoned vehicles.

State police are asking people to stay off the road until the storm is over and public works crews have made travel safe.
