Six People Rescued When Their Boat Begins to Sink on Long Island Sound

Stratford is among the departments to assist in rescuing the six people.

Six people were rescued Saturday morning when the boat they were in began to take on a large amount of water and began to sink, the Connecticut Post reports. 
Marine units from Bridgeport, Stratford and the U.S. Coast Guard was able to rescue them on Long Island Sound near Bridgeport and Stratford, the Post reports.

I can tell you first-hand that those Marine Units are first class. They helped me when the engine on my Whaler blew out. Even still, no more salt water for me. Only peaceful lakes that I can swim to shore if I have to! Andrew Mitchell Blum Fairfield, CT
