Road Rage on Post Road Results in Arrest

An alleged altercation between two drivers ended with two people being arrested — from one vehicle.

Orange Police said officers responded to Boston Post Road just before 6 p.m. on June 17 on report of a "road rage" incident.

"Investigation revealed that the operators of two vehicles had an altercation while driving, and that the passenger of one vehicle threw a cup of water at the driver of the other vehicle," the police report states.

The person who allegedly threw the cup, Chanel Hairston, 20, of West Haven, was issued an infraction ticket for creating a public disturbance.

The driver of the vehicle that Hairston was in, Angelica Bermudez, 23, of New Haven, was cited for driving with a suspended license. She was released on a promise to appear in court on July 1.
