Police: Woman Spat on Bus Driver

The West Haven woman was charged with breach of peace.

A West Haven woman was arrested by warrant on March 28 in relation to an incident in which she allegedly caused a scene on a public bus and then spat on the driver as she exited.

Orange Police said Lynn Kopjanski, 52, was arrested at police headquarters at 5:21 p.m. that day after she was detained by West Haven Police on an unrelated matter. She was charged with second-degree breach of peace.

Police said the arrest stems from an incident on Nov. 25, 2012. Kopjanski was reportedly riding a public bus that was traveling on Bull Hill Lane when she caused a disturbance, according to the police report.
