The complainant related that there is an active order of protection barring Estianne Garbatini from the residence.

The victim, who is bed ridden, was awaken by breaking glass at about 11:30 p.m., police said. It was not until the victim's son arrived at the house that it was learned that a jewelry box, pain pills, and financial documents has been stolen, according to the report.

Police said officers located Garbatini at her Ansonia home a short while later, and she was arrested without incident. All of the stolen items were recovered, police said.

Garbatini was held on $50,000 bond pending arraignment in Derby Superior Court.
