Police Say DUI Driver Asleep at Boston Post Road Intersection

A DUI arrest and a protective order violation highlight last week's arrests.

 

October 14, 3:18 p.m.

Police say they responded to a mid-afternoon dispatch and found a car stopped in the middle of the Boston Post Road, near Race Brook Road, with the driver asleep behind the wheel.

After police woke up the driver and made sure the car was safe, they conducted a sobriety test. Jose Acoltzi-Bautista, 49, of West Haven, was taken in on DUI charges. He was released after posting $50 bond.

Police arrested Peter Sultzbach, 60, of Milford, for violation of a protective order against another person. According to reports, Sultzbach drove to the protectee's place of employment. Sultzbach was released after posting $2500 bond.
