A 31-year old Hartford woman died in a crash at Exit 58 (Route 34) on the Wilbur Cross Parkway Saturday afternoon around 12:30 p.m.

According to police, State Police, along with officers from Woodbridge and Orange were on the scene of a rollover accident on the Parkway between Exits 58 and 59 southbound, when a patient transport van that was stolen from Gaylord Hospital in Wallingford sped by and sideswiped a car that was in traffic near the original crash.

Asilin Dorsey, a rehab patient at Gaylord Hospital, stole the van and raced down the Parkway with State Troopers in pursuit. She reportedly struck several vehicles as she fled, and other state troopers from the original accident scene joined in the pursuit after she sped by.
