A dispute between a man and his girlfriend led to the arrest of the man on a charge of disorderly conduct on June 18 at 1:11 a.m., police said.
According to the report, officers responded to a residence on Avalon Drive East on report of a disturbance. An investigation revealed that an argument between Pengcheng Yu, 24, of Avalon Drive East, and his girlfriend spilled out into the common area of the apartment complex.
Yu was released on a promise to appear in court on June 18,
Filing False Statement
A Woodbridge man turned himself in at on June 21 at 6 p.m. on a warrant that charged him with following too close, evading the scene of a motor vehicle accident and filing a false statement.
Arrested was Leopold Peavy IV, 23, of Deepwood Road in Woodbridge. According to police, the warrant stemmed from a motor vehicle accident on April 16, 2012, when Peavy allegedly struck another vehicle while driving, fled the scene, and later gave a false statement to officers about the incident when questioned.
He was released after posting a $100 bond and is due in court on July 5.
