Police: Pair Suspected in Radio Shack Robbery Saturday Morning

The following information came in from Asst. Chief Anthony Cuozzo of the Orange Department of Police Service.

"Robbery – Radio Shack – 90 Boston Post Road Orange CT. "Suspect #1 – Black Male, 20’s – described as "short" – Black hood sweatshirt w/ white printing on it. Black mask and gloves. "Suspect #2 - Black Female, 20’s – Light Blue Hooded sweatshirt. Black mask and gloves. "Suspect Vehicle - 2000/2001 Honda Accord, 2 door with medium tinted windows. Plastic covering front plate, cardboard covering rear plate. "On Saturday 5-11-2013 at about 10:05 a.m., Two suspects, entered the Radio Shack located at 90 Boston Post Rd. Both suspects were wearing masks and gloves. They ordered the lone employee to the ground. A weapon was neither displayed nor implied. Suspect #1 ordered the employee to open the register, as Suspect #2 went to the storage area in the rear of the store. Suspect #2 demanded the keys to a storage locker and the employee complied. Taken were at least 50 smart phones of various makes and models. "The Suspects fled in a 2000 or 2001 Black Honda Accord 2 door, with medium tinted windows. The front license plate was covered with plastic and the rear plate with a piece of cardboard. They fled in an unknown direction. "The employee was uninjured. Video was recovered from the store and is being analyzed. "Anyone who may have information is asked to contact Detective Morrin of the Orange Police Investigative Services Unit at 203-891-2138."
