Police: Orange Man Illegally Sold Gun to Juvenile

Milford Police say the alleged sale was arranged over the Internet.

An Orange man was arrested in Milford on Sunday for the alleged illegal sale of a firearm to a juvenile.

Travis Quick, 25, was charged with sale of a firearm to a person under 21 years of age, weapon in a motor vehicle, and carrying a pistol without a permit.

Police said they received a complaint on July 8 regarding a possible illegal gun transaction in the parking lot of 1365 Boston Post Road in Milford.

The next day, police said, the investigation revealed that the alleged dealer, Quick, sold the unregistered firearm for $600 to a juvenile he earlier engaged with on the Internet.

Quick’s bond was set at $75,000, police said Monday. The Orange man is due in court Oct. 1.
