A 51-year-old West Haven man was reportedly drinking while driving on Route 34, according to Orange police.
The man, who police identified as Timothy Krug, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration.
The arrest was made after police stopped Krug at about 7 p.m. on Dec. 3, on Route 34 westbound, for an alleged motor vehicle violation. "Upon stopping the vehicle, officers observed that the driver had been consuming alcohol while operating the vehicle," according to the police report.
Krug was released after posting a $50 bond and is due in court on Dec. 17.
