Police: Man Caused $13K in Damage to Edison Road Businesses

Orange Police say the West Haven man turned himself in at headquarters.

A 27-year-old West Haven man was arrested March 27 on allegations that he caused more than $13,000 worth of damage to several businesses on Edison Road in Orange.

Police said he damaged parking lots and lawns at a variety of businesses while operating heavy equipment on March 9, 2013. The man, Alexander Cuzzocreo, turned himself in at police headquarters at 3 p.m. on March 27 after learning of an active warrant for his arrest.

Cuzzocreo was charged with first-degree criminal mischief. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond, and is scheduled to appear in court on April 9.
