Police Looking for Man Who Robbed Orange Subway

The suspect reportedly displayed a large knife before fleeing with cash last night.

Orange Police are looking for a suspect who robbed the Subway in town last night.

Police say the man entered the store, at 116 Boston Post Road, at about 8:45 p.m. on Oct. 6 and demanded money. When the clerk had difficulty opening the register, the suspect reportedly displayed a large kitchen knife.

The man took cash from the register and a tip jar and then fled in an unknown direction. Police say a K-9 Team from West Haven came in to track the suspect, but that didn't yield any leads.

What the Suspect Looks Like

The suspect is described as a white male with blue eyes who is between 5-feet, 3-inches tall and 5-feet, 7-inches tall. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a blue bandana over his face and a hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area is asked to call Sgt. John Aquino at 203-891-2138.
