Police Commission Meeting (Dec. 13)

Orange police have been busy.

At the December Police Commissioner's meeting today at 4:30 p.m. police revealed that officers responded to 429 calls. There were 40 criminal complaints, 28 larcenies were reported, 127 accidents, one attempted robbery, four commercial burglaries and a fraud complaint. In addition, 432 traffic tickets were issued.

The fraud complaint reportedly involved a travel agency whose computer had been hacked and the perpetrator got away with some airline tickets.

Chief Robert Gagne reported that since the Department implemented new fees for fingerprints and records on Nov. 1 — $.50 per page  for copies of police reports; $10 for Local Criminal Record Checks; and $5 per card for fingerprinting — the department has brought in $672.
