Police Blotter: Two Arrested For Shoplifting

Police respond to incidents on Bull Hill Lane

 

OFFICERS RESPONDED to the store, 250 Bull Hill Lane, for a reported shoplifter in custody on Dec. 31 at 3:40 p.m. 

Investigation revealed that Luz Arenas, 48, of 1155 South St., Stratford, had selected $316 worth of merchandise and left the store without making any attempt to pay.

She was stopped outside the store by security agents and held for police. 

Arenas was charged with sixth-degree larceny and released on a promise to appear in court Jan. 23.

POLICE WERE CALLED to the store, 259 Bull Hill Lane, for a reported shoplifter in custody, on Jan. 1, at 7:14 p.m. 

Upon arrival, officers learned that Rodney Moore, 37, of 1700 Boston Post Road #110, Milford, had selected $24.75 worth of merchandise and left the store without making any attempt to pay. He was stopped outside the store by security agents and held for police. 

Moore was charged with sixth-degree larceny and released on $500 bond for court Jan. 13.
