Police Blotter: Board of Finance Chairman Arrested

Police released these two arrest reports.

 

The Orange police served a warrant against the Chairman of the Orange Board of Finance on Jan. 10 at 5:31 p.m.

Police said Robert "Kevin" Houlihan, 46, of 448 Barton Drive, was involved in a single car accident on Orange Center Road, Nov. 12, 2011.

Investigation led to the issuance of a warrant for driving under the influence. 

Houlihan surrendered himself at police headquarters on Jan. 10.

He was released on a promise to appear in court Jan. 24. 

 

A Stratford man turned himself in at police headquarters on a warrant Jan. 13 at 1:44 a.m. 

According to the report, Colonel Francis, 31, of 167 Winfield Drive, Stratford, was involved in a single-car accident on Grassy Hill Road, Oct. 14. 

Investigation led to the issuance of a warrant for driving under the influence. 

Francis was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and unsafe passing. 

He was released on $1,000 bond for court Jan. 27.
