Here are two arrests from last weekend.

AN EAST HAVEN man was arrested following a theft investigation on Feb. 5.

According to the report, Officer Michael Kosh was on patrol near the Orange Ale House, 517 Boston Post Road, when he discovered a man exiting the rear of the property around 6:47 a.m.

The business was closed at the time and officer Kosh stopped the vehicle.

Investigation revealed that Gerald Glazier, 36, of 22 Hilton Ave., was in possession of several empty beer kegs that had been taken from the Oange Ale House storage.

Glazier was charged with sixth-degree larceny and attempted sixth-degree larceny.

He was held on $10,000 bond for court Feb. 7.

 

DRUNKEN DRIVING was one of the charges lodged against a Shelton woman Feb. 6 at 12:53 a.m.

Police said Officer Lynn Stickrodt stopped a car for erratic driving and through her investigation found the driver, Doreen Belco, 45, of 43 Ridgefied Terrace, to be driving while drunk.  

During the arrest, Belco reportedly spit on the officer. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to drive in a proper lane, driving with defective headlights and assault on a police officer.

She was released on $5,000 bond for court Feb. 18.
