According to the Connecticut Post, the man - who has yet to be identified - stalled in the center lane. When he got out he was reportedly struck by a car.

State police have confirmed that a person was killed earlier on Thursday evening near exit 41 northbound on Interstate 95. State police say they expect to release more details later tonight.
